Vale is a small village,with the hamlet of Majerji. It lies several kilometres before Brestovica coming from the direction of Komen. North from the village is a rising Tabor; south from the village is a border with Italy. In the vicinity is "Jerihovca" or Valska jama. In World War I, the cave served as a hospital for Austro- Hugarian soldiers. The cave contained also a transformer. Today, the stairs and the remains of the kitchen used by Austrian soldiers are still preserved.
Name of the people who live in Vale: Valci, number of inhabitants: 10 (year 2015). The village is situated 139 metres above sea-level.
